A really amazing story about learning to love yourself and showing that there are other kinds of love out there besides the one between a boy and girl. Sometimes the love between best friends is the greatest love of all <3
What a wild ride! We've been through so much with Sophie and Agatha that it was quite sad to see everything come to end (as with most final books in a series). You see all your favorite characters from the other books (plus some others) and go with them on a roller-coaster ride of plot twists and drama as they all try to get their happy ever afters.
Reading the book was really interesting since I was catching up on some of the Once Upon a Time episodes where the villains are seeking their happy endings. Very similar plot was quite the coincidence. It's been a common theme throughout the series where you really start to question what is Good and what is Evil, at least with me.
"...sometimes Good isn't Evil's greatest enemy.... but an unexpected friend."
This quote really stuck out to me because it really spoke to many of the relationships in the book. Let's take Sophie for example. Sophie isn't evil for Evil's sake, like many other villains. She truly tries to be Good and I feel for her. The fact that Agatha is willing to give up so much for the happiness of others is what makes her Good, but she doesn't do it for the sake of Good like Sophie or other Evers. She does it because that's who she is. It's this battle of opposites between Agatha and Sophie that make me really enjoy reading about them and their friendship.
I also really like the dynamic between Agatha, Sophie and Tedros. Many people have that relationship where you can't imagine your life without your significant other or your best friend. I really loved watching them all grow together <3
By the end, I had a new respect for Sophie and the trio than before. I really felt for all of them and their individual trials that by the end I can't even say who was my favorite.
Overall, and with me really trying not to give away any spoilers, this book was my favorite in the series and it wrapped everything up so nicely. Don't expect to put this book down for long, especially once you get towards the end.
